The boys have started school. Alex's first day of 1st grade was yesterday. I'm proud of him for handling everything so well. He is in a new school of course and doesn't know any kids, but he is very mature about it. All of the kids were talking and playing with their friends as we waited for the doors to open. He turned to me and said, "I'm shy." My sweet boy...I'm sure he'll make friends soon.
Remy, on the other hand, was ready to go. He was the first in line and seemed to be very excited. There are only 9 children in his class (only 3 boys). They come out holding hands at dismissal...it was so cute. He is not a morning person however, and I'm hoping that he does not start giving me trouble once the novelty wears off.

I'm so glad the boys got off to school well on their first day. I could not imagine changing cities (and countries), changing houses, and changing schools! And all with a post-op husband. I hope y'all are enjoying NY.
