I Heart Faces-Slice of Life
"Slice of Life" is the theme this week at I Heart Faces...no posing, no shot set-up...just a photo of everyday life. Sophie loves to walk across the elevated pavers that line the driveway. I like the lines and symmetry here, but the best part of this shot is the "concentration tongue" as she does her best balancing act. Frame Project
So I took this picture that I love so much and had it made into a 12x18 print (which is a wonderful size and you don't have to worry about the aspect ratio cropping like in an 8x10, etc.) I also painted and distressed a frame and hung it in Sophie's room. Here's the result...I kinda like it :)

Green
*Update: My entry was chosen as a favorite this week!
The theme at The Paper Mama is "Green" this week, and I immediately thought of this photo. It is from last Spring. It may be a while before things really "green-up" around here this year...more light snow is called for this week :)
