Touchdown!

Alex is excited to be playing flag football again this year! 

 While the Jets (his team) lost the season opener to the Chargers, 

he scored their only touchdown of the game!  Here it is...

Sweater Weather

The air was crisp and cool today, and we wore our first sweaters of the season. 

 I love Fall... so happy it's here.

Paper Mama-Remember

The theme at The Paper Mama this week is "Remember."  

I know these days of playing with Lego guys will one day be a distant memory...and I will miss them.

This is a Memorial at the Arlington County Fire Department

 which was the first agency to respond to the Pentagon attack on September 11th. 

 It is a steel beam from the World Trade Center in NYC.   

There were so many events marking the 10th anniversary here in the DC area today.
